Six rules that are non-negotiable.
An encrypted copy off-site, wherever you choose: your cloud, APC's, or both. Only your company can open it.
Each branch has its own database and replicates to headquarters; if the internet goes down, it keeps selling.
Everyone sees and does only what they're supposed to. Every change is audited: who, what and when.
Only versions signed by APC Systems are installed, with a prior backup and outside business hours.
Each installer has its own SHA-256 fingerprint so you can check that it's the original.

It doesn't run code or free-form queries: it uses APC's functions and respects each user's permissions.
Anything that changes data or moves money is confirmed before it's done.
Turning on a cloud AI requires an administrator's approval and has a daily usage cap; local AI doesn't take data out of the company.
Órbit's own engine runs on any computer, with no graphics card and without sending anything out: it explains how to do things and looks up your numbers.
To chat with a full artificial intelligence without data leaving the company, the main computer needs a graphics card: from 12 GB of video memory for mid-size models; 24 GB or more for large models and several users at once.
If the computer has no graphics card, cloud AI can be used: only with an administrator's consent and with a daily usage cap. You can always go back to the built-in engine.

For retail chains that use APC: corporation, subsidiaries, distributors and customers. With the agreement of both companies in each link, the buyer shares with the seller only the restocking data for the agreed items: inventory, weekly sales and minimums. The seller sends back a suggested order that the buyer approves or discards. The data travels directly between the two companies: it never goes through APC.

What you tell us improves the system for everyone.
Errors, ideas and requests are sent from inside APC, with a screenshot. They reach headquarters, are tracked until resolved, and what's useful goes into the updates for all customers.
Versions signed by APC Systems, installed overnight with a prior backup, without reinstalling anything on each workstation. What goes into each version is shown in What's New.
Each version brings new answers, reviewed by the APC team, for all industries.
