1. Open the file you downloaded (APC_…_Setup.exe) and click Siguiente (Next) until Instalar (Install). If Windows warns that the program is new, choose More info → Run anyway.
2. If the computer doesn't have the database, the installer sets it up (it needs internet just once).
3. Open APC ERP DEMO from the desktop and sign in with username demo and password demo. Órbit welcomes you and shows you around.

• Windows 10 or 11, 64-bit. A regular office PC: you don't need a server.
• Recommended: 4-core processor (8th-gen Intel Core i3, Ryzen 3 or better), 8 GB of memory and an SSD. To try the demo on a single workstation, 4 GB is enough.
• About 200 MB for the program, plus the database (PostgreSQL 16, about 350 MB), which the installer sets up if it's missing. Leave at least 2 GB free so the database can grow.
• Multiple workstations: one of the PCs acts as the main computer and the others connect over the store's network. With more than 5 workstations, that PC should have 16 GB and stay on at all times.
• Phones: APC apps run on Android 8.0 or later. There's no iPhone app for now.
• The demo apps work offline, with sample data; your company's app connects to your APC over the store's Wi-Fi, or from outside if you turn on remote access.
• Internet only for the first installation and to receive updates.
• It can coexist with a live version of APC on the same computer: they use separate folders and databases.

Distributors with branches, corporations and Enterprise

• Dedicated main computer (high-performance PC or server with Windows Server 2019 or later): 8 cores, 32 GB of memory, mirrored NVMe SSDs and a UPS.
• Each branch with its own computer and database: if the internet goes down, it keeps selling, and the data comes together at headquarters when the connection returns.
• Fixed internet at headquarters (fiber, with a second backup link recommended) and a wired network for the checkout stations.
• Enterprise: multiple companies or countries working connected to a cloud ERP, which is a requirement of the plan.
• Encrypted off-site backups every day and access with a user account and per-person permissions.
• The exact hardware is defined in the setup assessment, based on workstations, branches and volume.
